The Gate510View mapWe are pleased to announce a collaborative event with the Dept. of Energy focused on market feasibility and manufacturing. The Dept. of Energy is launching a new program, Build 4 Scale to provide hardware startup entrepreneurs with high-value resources - templates, assessments, etc…that help them go from prototype to commercial production as efficiently as possible. A series of modules have been developed by experts from around the US that cover the most important details of the hardware startup process from start to finish. During this event our own Greg Fisher, CEO of Berkeley Sourcing Group and Hardware Massive, will teach Module 3 of the program which covers: • Market Feasibility Analysis • Determining Fixed vs. Variable Costs for Your Company • Calculating your Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) • The Impact of Design on Costs • Making Decisions on Cost Models • Achieving Economies of Scale This is a pilot program so seats are very limited. If you are interested in getting a deep dive on these topics, we suggest you RSVP immediately. This is a great opportunity for founders who have a strong background in technology but who have never led a company to take a physical product to market. About the Presenter: Greg Fisher has worked with over 900 hardware startups as CEO of Berkeley Sourcing Group over the last 12 years. Berkeley Sourcing Group is a turnkey DFM and manufacturing services company that helps startups finalize their designs for manufacturing and manage factories in China for best outcomes. Their services include prototyping, mechanical and electrical engineering, design for manufacturing, factory identification and selection, factory set-up, quality assurance and control, certification and shipping.
